There's this Conference happening in Copenhagen about climate changes and the Kyoto Protocol that ands in 2012 (interesting date, by the way) and I don't see many people talking about it in Brazil..what I heard is that our country hasn't made his mind about what position to take in the discussions...sure it involves lots of issues..but shouldn't we have that set already?...it's weird to me...
Anyway...I was checking the website of the conference..and I found this news
We never really know what's going on in this kind of event..if it's just business or if they're really worried about the planet,.,...I still prefer to think they're concerned about our climate changes..mom says I'm still idealist
in the news they present a series of catastrophies that may happen in a short period of time..others say the global warming is not happening..isn't serious....
the thing it, in my opinion...it doesn't matter if the world will end in 2012..rs...or in 50 years...with all the catastrophies or the apocalypse...we should...better..we must care for the place where we live..if there's anything to be done not to pollute water or soil or air..it must be done...but there's probably toooooo much money involved and business and the capitalist world cares a lot more about that...than making sure the planet will be "livable" for the next 70 years...to make it short....
why do people have to die before anything's done? we always wait for the destruction...to reconstruct instead of preventing the disasters....
